Munich’s Südbad opened in 1960 and was last renovated in 2008 in a style that is in tune with the original architecture. A striking feature is the retractable glass facade of the building with the curtain of plants on the opposite wall. Just outside the building there is a lawn and an outdoor wellness pool. The baths also have a sauna area, children’s and non-swimmers’ pools and a bistro.
