Schlenkerla Brewery and Inn
The Schlenkerla brewery and inn is located in a half-timbered building in Bamberg Old Town. It offers five rooms and a lovely Biergarten. The “Altes Lokal” room in this traditional inn dates back to the year 1405. One special feature of the Schlenkerla is the Dominikanerklause church with its imposing Gothic pointed arch and painted ceiling from 1310, which creates a magnificent backdrop.
