Pinakothek der Moderne
Stefan Braunfel’s Pinakothek der Moderne houses, on an area of 12,000 m², a collection of art, graphics, architecture and design from the 20th and 21st centuries. Particularly characteristic of a building of this open nature is the central rotunda with a 25 m-high glass dome. The Pinacotheca of the Modern is situated in the middle of the Munich art district, next to the Brandhorst Museum, the Alte Pinakothek and the Neue Pinakothek.
