Old castle Eremitage Bayreuth
In 1715, Margrave Georg Wilhelm had the Old Palace Hermitage built not far from the royal seat of Bayreuth as the center of a courtly hermitage. The palace complex with extraordinary rooms such as the Japanese Cabinet and the Chinese Hall of Mirrors is surrounded by a baroque garden plant with hedge quarters, arcades and fountains.

Capacity / Logistics
For indoor and outdoor shots of the Bavarian Palace Department's objects you generally require a filming permit (subject to a fee). The written permit should be applied for in good time - at least ten working days in advance. Current reports and purely documentary shots can usually be approved more quickly.
