The building complex was mainly built in the 16th and 17th centuries and currently houses the Museum of Modern Art – Wörlen, across approx. 1,000 m² and several storeys. The museum is directly opposite Niedernburg Abbey, lies in the Old Town in direct proximity to the former tavern of Emerenz Meier and the tip of the town (confluence of three rivers).
