The over 100-year-old, rustic wooden hut with a view of the Isar valley is detached on a hillside spur in the middle of a private forest. It can be reached via the Isarhochuferstrasse near Hornstein, between Aumühle and Ickinger Wehr. The hut has a pine-paneled main room with tiled lounges, a corner bench with table and a coach bed. In the adjoining room is a small and simple kitchen with a carpenter's bench and a "writer's parlor" with a coach desk. The hut can be reached via a footpath, parking is available on the Isarhochuferstrasse. There is no electricity, sanitary facilities or running water.
