High castle Pähl

Pähl Castle is an old Bavarian noble seat near Pähl in the district of Weilheim-Schongau about 100 meters above the valley floor of the Ammer River and Lake Ammer. Today's high castle, a villa in the romantic castle style was built in 1885 and is privately owned. It is located on a mountain surrounded by forest near the village.
