Heiliggeistkirche
The Heiliggeistkirche was built in the late Gothic architectural style in Old Bavaria. The three-aisled hall church was completed in 1461 according to the plans of master builder Hans von Burghausen. In its light-filled church interior, which after renovation in 1998 now serves as a space for changing art exhibitions, history and the present merge. These exhibitions, whether as period dialogues or site-specific installations, are conceived by regional artists. The impressive exterior of this church stands not far from the shores of the Isar.
