Built in 1525, the Frauenkirche hall church, actually named “Cathedral of Our Dear Lady”, is the seat of the Archbishop of Munich and Freising and a Munich landmark. The nave is 109 metres long, 40 metres wide and 37 metres high. Of the two c. 100 m-high towers, the South Tower is open to the public.
