The Augsburg Trade Fair, opened in 1988, is located in the south of Augsburg and the and third largest exhibition center in Bavaria with 48,000 sqm (520,000 sqft) of exhibition space. The area is spread over 12 halls between 1140 sqm (12300 sqft) to 8200 sqm (88300 sqft) in size. The extensive grounds also include 10,000 sqm (107700 sqft) of open space and a congress center with 90s-style meeting rooms.
