The Weißenstein castle ruins lie 846 metres above sea level at the Steinwaldklamm ridge. The striking castle keep rises around 7.5 metres high above the forest and offers impressive views of the surrounding woodland. The ruins were extensively refurbished in recent years and have become a popular destination.
