Munich’s Siegestor with quadriga is located on a traffic island in the middle of one of the main roads in Munich and marks the transition from Ludwigstrasse to Leopoldstrasse. Due to the density of buildings in both roads, impressive streetscapes emerge in both directions with a view of Odeonsplatz or the skyline of the north of Munich. Architecturally, the structure erected in approx. 1850 is based on the Arch of Constantine in Rome.
