Lake Alatsee
This mountain lake forms the upper part of Faulenbach Valley, which spans from the banks of the River Lech in Füssen to the west. Situated in the heart of a nature reserve with lots of woodland. Places to bathe on the eastern and western shores. Original location and filming location for BR screen adaptation (2013) of the crime novel “Seegrund” (Volker Klüpfel and Michael Kobr).

Capacity / Logistics
12 ha lake, water depth of up to 32 m. North shore accessible via tarmacked road or gravel track. No tonnage restrictions for vehicle access to the car park at the north shore. Limited amount of parking at the north shore public car park.

Available upon request from the public grid.
