LIMESEUM and Roman Park Ruffenhofen
The LIMESEUM is a museum about the Ruffenhofen Roman fort and the Raetian Limes section (part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes) in the Hesselberg region. With its round architecture, constructed largely of wood and glass, the building is a striking feature in the surrounding landscape, characterized by nature and views of the Hesselberg hill. The Roman park, with its planted fort and numerous renaturalized areas, also offers attractive photo opportunities. 2012 / Contemporary Architecture; Middle Franconia
