Kurfürstenallee
The Kurfürstenallee was laid out between 1774 and 1780 on an initiative by Kurfürst Clemens Wenzeslaus in imitation of the French model. The avenue of lime trees runs for almost two kilometres and has approx. 620 limes that are at least 200 years old. The avenue runs between the valleys of the Wertach and the Geltnach and offers fantastic views of the Allgäu mountains. It is now a protected natural monument.
