Jewish cemetery and former synagogue
The synagogue was consecrated in 1735. The complex that is still preserved today consisting of a synagogue with its two ritual baths (mikvehs), the exposed Baroque wall paintings and the former teachers’ house next door, as well as the large Jewish cemetery with a Tahara house from 1723 is regarded, in this combination, as a unique testimony to Jewish life in the countryside in southern Germany.
