The Dante baths opened their doors for the first time in 1913. Back then there was only a swimming bath for men, but following two major renovations the site currently offers several swimming pools, including a 50 m-long competitive swimming pool and stand boasting 1,000 seats, themed pools and pools for non-swimmers, a children’s play area, sports fields, a kiosk and beer garden, a nudist area, sauna facilities and large grassy areas for relaxation with a rich variety of trees. In winter the stadium area becomes the Dante heated open-air pool and is open until 11 pm at night.
