Paper has been manufactured in the Büttenpapierfabrik Gmund since 1829. The factory has various production and processing rooms and a warehouse for storing rolls of paper. The site includes some outdoor areas and the Mangfall river is also nearby. An event location with gastronomy opened on the Gmund Papier campus in 2018 with catering facilities that reflect its creative, industrial character.
