The Friedensdenkmal (Peace Monument with Angel of Peace), which recalls the peace agreement between Germany and France, is located on the Prince Regent Luitpold Terrace in the Munich district of Bogenhausen, at the eastern end of Prinzregentenstrasse. The Peace Monument itself consists of a small Greek-style temple on a two-storey base. A 23 m-high column towers above the roof of the temple, at the top of which is a golden angel.
